THE French Onion Soup. I cannot think of many better winter recipes than French Onion Soup. Every thing from sweet caramelized onions to thick layer of melty cheese sinking in to the toasted bread is perfect. French Onion Soup can be served in smaller crocks as an appetizer or in larger crocks as entrée.
